ARTISTIC CONCEPT:
"Latent Matter" stands chronologically and conceptually at the zero point of the artist's creative cosmology. Shifting from later pieces where the silhouette of the being has already crystallized, this artwork records the purely potential state of energy materializing from nothingness. The sharp, heavily textured reliefs on the white stoneware represent a primordial quantum fluctuation: the original plasma where elementary particles begin to cluster without yet defining any figurative structure. Within Gurdjieff's philosophical framework, the piece embodies the exact split-second before manifestation, where the unmanifested substance prepares to receive the laws of octaves and the three forces that will order the cosmos.
