"The Being in the Void" represents a major conceptual synthesis within the artist's production. In this recurring piece, Ismael García Burillo encloses the emanation of the totemic, anthropomorphic silhouette of the Being within the incomplete circular brushstroke of the Zen Ensō. The stoneware plate, rich in striated textures that emulate the frequencies of a background quantum field, acts as the cosmic plane where original void and conscious matter unify.
