A "one of a kind" artisan piece inspired by the contrast between tree bark and leaf textures. Hand-thrown in stoneware and fired at 1250 degrees, featuring hand-carved natural motifs.

This signature pot (Serial 218229) explores the duality of forest textures. Designed in the Sumi-kiri style (notched corners), it was handcrafted on a wheel using high-density stoneware. The raw, unglazed finish showcases a rugged texture reminiscent of a solid tree trunk. On the front and back sides, it features artistic carvings simulating the relief of a fruit, framed within textured rectangles that contrast with the pot's overall sobriety. The dark granite gray color is enhanced by a dark patina that adds depth to the reliefs. The feet are integrated directly into the clay body for maximum stability.
