ARTISTIC CONCEPT:
"Ensō: Expansion of Being" functions as the vibrational and volumetric counterpart to the meditative void. This piece features the sacred circle of Zen Buddhism —the Ensō— executed with a thick, powerful, and energetic stroke glazed in a vibrant yellow-gold tone across a square textured stoneware plate. The open stroke symbolizes the infinite expansion of awakened consciousness and the dynamic flow of energy within the quantum field. Paired with reclaimed noble wood marked by time, the artwork embodies the Zen principle of Wabi-Sabi and Gurdjieff's concept of the positive crystallization of the Self through active self-remembering.
