ARTISTIC CONCEPT:
"Ensō: The Conscious Void" is a ceramic wall relief deeply rooted in Zen Buddhist philosophy and aesthetics. The artwork features an incomplete circular brushstroke —the Ensō— glazed in rich golden ochre tones over a minimalist grey stoneware plate. This stroke symbolizes the eternal moment, enlightenment, and the original void from which all matter births within the quantum field. Its open nature references perfect imperfection (Wabi-Sabi) and the expansion of consciousness as described by Gurdjieff. Set against an ancient reclaimed wood base, the piece balances the lightness of the spirit with the historical density of the physical medium.
